The training season will commence late February for coaches and 4th March 2025 for players.
Don't delay in registering, our teams fill up quickly!

The registration process is best done in one sitting and will take approximately 5 - 10 minutes.

Fees
Please note, your fee is broken into several parts with Bays JRUFC, Sydney Junior Rugby Union, NSW Rugby Union and Rugby Australia each receiving a portion. This covers all participation costs including players kit, balls and field equipment, training, field hire, match day officials, management of competitions and all insurances.

It is important to note that in the event of a refund, Bays JRUFC can only hold jurisdiction for the portion of the fees paid to the club.

To take advantage of the free registration fees offer for new girl playing mmbers in 2025 - please complete your registration and then email [email protected]

Coaches, managers, volunteers and match officials
If you intend on being a coach, manager or a volunteer of any type of volunteer (e.g. assistant referee/linesperson or ground marshall) please also follow the below process to register yourself in addition to your child. The process is largely the same except you select the appropriate role and enter your working with children check (WWCC) if it isn’t already there. There is no cost to register as an adult.‍

Registration Steps

Have the following ready

A current photo of your child (head shot)
Know the height and weight of your child
Know the shoe, shorts, and jersey sizes of your child
Active Kids voucher (if using you will need to obtain your Active Kids voucher number prior to registering with Rugby AU.) Note: Redeemed NSW Active Kids Vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferrable, as per the terms set by the NSW Office of Sport. Head to the Service NSW website to apply online.
Note: Registration automatically applies the child’s DOB to age group. If your child wishes to play up or down a year group, please email our registrar at [email protected]

Coaches, Managers, Assistant Referees, Ground Marshall or Volunteers you will need to know your Working with Children Check (WWCC) number. The WWCC is a requirement for anyone who works or volunteers in child-related work in NSW. You must have this number before you can complete your registration. To apply for a WWCC please see this page on the Service NSW website.

Once you have all of these handy, proceed with the steps below. It is best done in one sitting and will take approximately 5 - 10 minutes.

Registering in Rugby Xplorer

This is an Australian wide registration system which is used by all clubs in Australia. When you are ready, open the Rugby Xplorer website. Follow the rest of the steps in this guide carefully as you proceed.

Login to Rugby Xplorer

Returning players, if you have an account it will ask you for your password to login.

Note: Make sure you log in using the email address you previously used for registration
otherwise you will need to create a whole new account.
‍
If your child is new player or you are registering with a new email, you will be asked to create an
account now.
Create the account in your name, as the parent, then add all your children that are intending to play. Before you move on to registering into Bays, all of your children should be linked to your Rugby Xplorer account. Once complete, continue with the following steps.

Club communications

NEW IN 2025
A new Easts Bays JRUFC WhatsApp community will replace Team App in 2025 and be the primary platform for all club annoucments and communication.
‍
You will receive a link to this community in your Welcome to Bays 2025 email which will follow your registration confirmation email within approx. one week of completing your registration.
